FREE East Bay Interactive Support Seminar – Entrepreneurship for Individuals with Special Needs
Speaker: Bill Pelter, MA, former Assistant Executive Director of Ability Now Bay Area, formerly the Cerebral Palsy Center: Bill was with the Center full time for 17 years. Bill led the team that developed their self-employment program. He assists with the Center’s community outreach and education, and by participating on committees, panels and coalitions, such as the Alameda County Developmental Disabilities Council and Executive Board, Founding member of the East Bay Employment Taskforce to increase the number of I/DD consumers employed, and current member of the Alameda County Developmental Disabilities Council Transition Committee working to improve outcomes for Special Education Students.
If our loved ones want to have a career free from bullying and being laid off, then why not be the boss themselves?!
