Social Play Group – Fall 2024
The Social Play Group class is designed to help individuals develop crucial social skills while building bonds and friendships with their peers. Through fun interactive activities and group conversations, participants learn to communicate effectively, show kindness, and manage conflict respectfully. There will be hands-on activities that encourage teamwork and social interactions. Join us and watch your child thrive socially!
Ms. Lyn will be the class instructor. She is currently an Instructional Assistant, training students from all disability categories for 13 years and one of the teachers at the FCSN After School Program for five years. She also has six years of ABA experience. Her passion and professional experience in working with students help contribute to the goals of providing students with a safe and positive learning environment.

Community Social Gathering – Fall 2024
Participants will engage in fun social activities with peers through art, dance, and hands-on interactive play.

Special Shine Program provides individuals with access to various Chinese language and social recreation programs. Programs are made accessible for children and adults of all ages, ability, and skill levels. All programs focus on helping individuals learn new ways of self-expression and social interactions, and each program offers unique benefits and skills.

Special Needs Percussion Guard 2024-25
Tri-City Band Corps is excited to announce its Special Needs Percussion Program tailored to special needs students with any experience.
Tri-City Band Corps Special Needs Percussion Program aims to provide musical opportunities to middle and high school special needs students, promote community awareness, develop a variety of musical skills, and make new and memorable friendships.
There are several benefits to participating in this program, which may include:
1) Developing music and rhythmic abilities
2) Developing hand-eye coordination and fine & gross motor abilities
3) Promoting self esteem
4) Building teamwork skills
5) Developing innate abilities and talent to reach for the stars
6) Promoting community awareness and defeat stigma and stereotyping by recognizing individuals with special needs

1-on-1 Beginner Music Program
We are excited to introduce beginner music concepts to new musicians. The 1:1 Music Program is intended to be for new music learners, teaching basic technique and concepts. It is an introductory program to help parents determine whether music is a passion for their child. Think of it as a launch pad into the world of music!
It is important to note that this program is not intended to advance students to the next musical level; however, through participation in this program, we hope your student is able to determine whether they would like to seriously pursue music elsewhere.

Arts and Crafts Class – Fall 2024
In this Arts and Crafts class, participants will explore the theme of connection through art projects that will allow them to express their creativity and uniqueness, and encourage them to see art as a way to connect and have fun with their peers.
Volunteers from HongYun Art Studio will be teaching this class.

Lego Robotics Club 2024 (Beginner)
Step into the world of Lego Robotics Club, where creativity knows no bounds! In our beginner class, participants will work together to build and explore using the LEGO WeDo2 sets while developing essential skills like reading and following Lego building instructions, teamwork, focus, and problem-solving. Through fun projects and collaborative tasks, they create robots and forge new friendships with their peers. Join us for an adventure filled with building, learning, and making connections that last a lifetime!
What to bring to the class: Please bring a Bluetooth-enabled device. It could be an iPad, Android Tablet, Chromebook, Mac Laptop, or Windows Laptop. It needs to have Bluetooth connectivity.

Science Explorers Club

Tennis
Get up, get active, and have fun playing tennis! The tennis program provides a fun and interactive way to learn the fundamentals of the game while making new friends. Participants will develop fundamental tennis skills, including forehand, backhand, volley, and serve, while improving their gross motor skills. Tennis volunteers will serve as their coach, guiding them at their own pace. Players will be grouped by age. Come join us, improve your game, and build friendships!
When: Fridays, 10 classes: 9/20/24, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22/24
- Session 1: 4:30pm-5:30pm (Age 7-17). Limit 4 players.
- Session 2: 4:30pm-5:30pm (Age 18+). Limit 4 players.
Age: Individuals 7 and above. All levels. No previous tennis experience required.
Maximum Capacity: 4 per court
Cost: $250 (includes court fees)
Classes may be canceled due to weather and court conditions. We will issue a credit for the canceled class at the end of the program.
