Summer Camps

FCSN’s Summer Performing Arts Camps are engaging camps designed specifically for individuals with special needs, offering a unique opportunity to explore the performing arts in a supportive, structured, and inclusive setting. Our camp blends creativity, skill development, and social engagement, providing participants with a safe space to express themselves, build meaningful connections, and develop new talents.

We have 2 specialized camps: Drama Camp and Music Camp, both thoughtfully crafted to foster self-expression, teamwork, and confidence. Campers will engage in hands-on activities that promote collaboration, encourage personal growth, and culminate in live performances where they can showcase their achievements to family and friends.

By participating in FCSN’s Summer Performing Arts Camps, campers will not only develop their artistic abilities but also enhance their social skills, boost their self-esteem, and experience the joy of creative expression—all while being part of an accepting and inspiring community.

Regional Center Clients (for POS Funding)

FCSN is a vendorized service provider of the Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) for Camp Services. RCEB clients can attend FCSN camp services without paying any out-of-pocket cost. (SARC clients can request for a courtesy vendorization from your service coordinator to attend.) Please contact your regional center case manager/service coordinator to add social recreation program to your child’s IPP and to request for the POS (Purchase of Service) to be issued to FCSN.

Non-Regional Center Clients or Regional Center Self-Determination Clients

For clients who are not with RCEB or SARC or do not have Social Recreation POS, you have the option to pay for these classes out-of-pocket.

TYPES OF CAMPS

Drama Camp

$700 per camp

Our Drama Camp provides campers with the opportunity to explore acting, storytelling, and stage performance. Through interactive activities such as role-playing, improvisation, and script reading, participants develop communication skills, build self-esteem, and strengthen their ability to collaborate with peers. The program culminates in a live theatrical production, where campers showcase their talents in front of family and friends. This year’s production will be the original Kung Fu Panda.

AUDITIONS: Campers who would like a speaking role in the drama MUST attend 1 of 2 auditions to try out for a role. An audition script will be provided before the audition dates:
