The Asian Service Disparity
Data from the regional center shows that Asians make up 19% of its client population but are only utilizing 13% of its services. The disparity indicates a significant portion of Asian families do not understand their entitlement to access resources and services for their loved ones with disabilities.
With funding from the Department of Developmental Services, FCSN supports and empower Asians with disabilities to access regional center services.

Knowing what housing options are available and where to find reliable information can help families prepare and plan ahead. In this presentation, Ziqing will provide an overview of affordable housing resources and discuss some of the options that may be available to individuals with disabilities. Families will also learn about important factors to consider when exploring housing, including eligibility, applications, and available support.
