Special Needs Talent Showcase – 032418

Dear Members and Friends,
This event is to all about providing opportunities to our children and adults with special needs.
Please let me know if you can spread the word about Special Needs Talent Showcase. This is a showcase equivalent to American’s Got Talent, with celebrity judges, sponsored by ABC7 and Golden State Warriors on March 24, 7pm at the Santa Clara Convention Center Theater. New celebrity judges this year includes: Chelsie Hill (star of TV series Push Girls), and Jasmine Yep-Huynh (manager, San Francisco Ballet)
THE AUDITION is Jan. 28, and the DEADLINE FOR AUDITION APPLICATION is next week Jan. 20. Please help us spread the word so many more our folks will have this opportunity. $500 to each of the 3 winners, and another $1500 total to the finalists. In addition,10 honorable mentions with parting prizes from the Warriors will perform to an audience of over 600 at the Convention Center Theater.
There are many talented children/individuals with special needs. This is the platform for them to be recognized and encourage them to pursue their dreams. It also brings awareness of the talent and abilities in our community that could open doors to career opportunities. Everyone is the winner. Applicants coming in for audition on Jan 28 will receive prizes. Please attached flyer and application form. All applicants have to have an IEP from the school district and/or an IPP from the Regional Center.
