Don’t Miss this week’s seminar: “Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Diagnostic Criteria, DSM-5 and Who Qualifies for Regional Center Services”
Speaker: Maria-Pilar Bernal-Estevez, M.D. is  a well-known and well-loved Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist at Palo Alto Medical Foundation, and former Chief of Child Psychiatry in Kaiser Northern California. She has more than 30 years of experience in program development and caring for diverse psychiatric populations of children and adolescents. She has been developing and implementing services for children with autism and developmental disabilities and collaborated with scientist and leading international experts  to develop best practices for diagnosis, intervention and services. She is an adjunct associate professor at Stanford’s Department of Psychiatry and at UC Berkeley Extension program.
