FREE East Bay Seminar – Developmental Disability Council and Transition to Adult Services

 
Speaker: Sandi Soliday, coordinator of Alameda County Public Health Department, Developmental Disability Council (DD Council), a former transition specialists at Fremont Unified School District, and a long-time friend of FCSN.
 
 
 
Sharing / Discussion Topics include:

A great live music dance party by FCSN’s own Dream Achievers Band. We welcome all families to East Bay gathering to enjoy the live music and great dance party to celebrate Mother’s Day, at the FCSN Fremont center.
 
 
 
Dream Achievers Band is a band made up of talented young musicians with Autism from Friends of Children with Special Needs (FCSN)’s music program. Founded 5 years ago, Dream Achievers members are Lawrence Wang, Alice Jen, and Gregory Hebert. Due to Autism, each one of them has an inspirational story of amazing encourage that overcame incredible challenges. Their repertoire ranges from classical music to jazz, rock, pop and hip hop.
 
 
 
Dream Achievers is one of the 3 winners of 2015 Special Needs Got Talent. They have performed internationally in Beijing, and Hong Kong and Shanghai.  Other venues include California State Capitol, universities, theatres, schools, and private events. Many of their performances can be found on YouTube. These musicians are ambassadors of hope for parents of children with special needs.
