FREE East Bay Interactive Support Group Seminar – The Importance of Social Security Benefits for Individuals with Disabilities
Speakers: Sarah Kim-Lee, Public Affair Specialist for Social Security office
Families will be grouped according to their loved ones age for topic relevance.
Topics Will Include:
- How to make sure our children is eligible for SSI benefit – young children’s families must know
- SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance benefit) – especially important for transition age youths
- What is the difference between SSI and SSDI
- Medicare benefit – 24 months after receiving disability benefits
