Children’s Programs

Storytime

FCSN’s children programs provide positive guidance, assistance and encouragement to help students to reach their maximum potential. We believe that all families and individuals can live an active and full life as other members in the community, regardless of disability. Thus, with the “whole child” approach, we address equal importance on the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical development of each unique child.

The children’s programs include:

After School Program

This program provides after school care for school-age children with disabilities. It provides a safe, safe and healthy space for children with special needs to improve functioning skills, communication and social skills, and independent living skills while engaging in fun activities.

Social Recreation Program

This program is a vendorized program with the Regional Center of the East Bay and San Andreas Regional Center. The offers a variety of fun activities according to individual’s person-centered plan, allowing clients to enroll in social activities that fit their own interest and needs

Enrichment Programs

This program is not vendorized with the Regional Center of the East Bay or San Andreas Regional Center, so participants pay out-of-pocket to enroll. The classes offer fun, engaging activities designed to enrich the lives of children with special needs.
