Regional Center Clients (for Purchase of Service-POS Funding)
FCSN is an approved vendor for social recreation services with the San Andreas Regional Center (SARC). The following classes are eligible for funding through SARC’s Purchase of Service (POS).
Instructions for Enrolling in FCSN’s Social Recreation Program:
- If you are new to FCSN’s Social Recreation Program, please contact your SARC case manager promptly to request that social recreation services be added to your child’s Individual Program Plan (IPP) and have the referral packet sent to FCSN. Once the referral is approved, request the case manager to issue a POS to FCSN that covers all the hours of the classes that your child is enrolling in, and inform FCSN of the classes your child wishes to attend. Once we receive the authorized POS, we will send you a link to complete the application and consent forms. After the application is completed, we will send you the class registration links with a coupon code.
- If you are an existing or returning client, please contact your case manager to request the POS to be issued to FCSN that will cover all the hours of the classes that your child is enrolling in, and inform FCSN of the classes your child wishes to attend. Once we receive the authorized POS, we will send you the class registration links with a coupon code.
Please note:
- POS does not guarantee class enrollment which is on a first come first serve basis until maximum capacity is reached.
- When emailing your Case Manager to request the POS, be sure to copy us at sbep@fcsn1996.org so that we can track and assist with the POS process.
- Your class enrollment is considered INCOMPLETE until all required documents and information are submitted. Missing or incorrect documents or information may lead to the delay or cancellation of your enrollment in the class(es).

Regional Center Clients (for Self-Determination)
For Self-Determination clients, you can use your SDP budget to pay for our classes. See below for the procedure.
- Please contact us and send us the client’s IPP for intake assessment (new clients ONLY).
- FCSN will determine the client’s eligibility and notify you.
- Contact your Financial Management Service (FMS) to send us the agreement for signature.
- FCSN will send you an agreement for signature.
- Once both signed agreements are received, we will send you the invoice template and send you the class list for you to create your invoice for the classes you have selected. (Classes are on a first-come first-served basis until capacity is reached.)
- Parents / Conservators need to submit the invoice to your FMS and copy Program Director and Accounting
- Once FCSN receives proof of invoice submission to FMS, we will send you the link and coupon code to register for your classes.
Non-Regional Center Clients
You have the option to pay out of pocket.
**ANNUAL ACCOUNT REGISTRATION UPDATE**
FOR ALL POS AND SDP CLIENTS: Each new year, all returning POS and SDP families must renew their account registration in order to register for classes. To renew your account registration, please click here. Your existing account information should already be saved. You will need to review, sign, and date all required forms and update any information as needed. Account renewal is required for anyone planning to register for classes this year.

Parental Class Participation
Parent Volunteer:
If you would like to be involved in your child’s class and provide one-on-one support during the programs, you must apply as an adult volunteer, complete a background check, and pay the associated fee.
Parent Spectator:
As a parent spectator, no action is required other than remaining in the designated waiting area during your child’s class. If your presence is needed, a staff member will bring your child to you.
Personal Assistants of Clients (Not Agency-Affiliated):
Individuals personally hired by the client’s family, who are not affiliated with an agency, are required to complete a background check, pay the associated fee, and sign the necessary documentation with our organization before attending class sessions.
Third-Party Helper/Assistant (Agency Affiliated):
Individuals hired through an outside agency, such as ABA therapists, must get a background check and sign an agency agreement with our organization to qualify to be present alongside the student during class. Prior approval with our facility is required, and all third-party helpers/assistants must adhere to the FCSN center’s policies while on site.
Please inform FCSN if your child will be assisted during social recreation programs. Background checks typically take several weeks to clear (about 3 weeks). Start early and ensure the background check is completed before classes begin, as you will not be able to attend without completing the required documents.
